• ·         Finance Minister Arun Jaitely, presented the Union Budget for the Fiscal Year 2015-16.
• ·         Real GDP growth expected to accelerate to 7.4%.
• ·         Rate of Inflation declines to 5.1%.
• ·         Current account deficit shall remain less than 1.3%.
• ·         Total amount for Rural Infrastructure Development Bank is 25000Cr.
• ·         Micro irrigation Programme Farmers credits target of 8.5 lakh Cr.
• ·         AIIMS for Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, TN, HP, Bihar, Assam.
• ·         IIT for Karnataka.
• ·         IIM for Jammu and Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh.
• ·         The surcharge to be levied @2% for 1 to 10 crores amount and 5% for above 10.
• ·         Visa on arrival for the tourist increased from 43 countries to 150 countries.
• ·         Naye Manzil Yojana for minority Youth.
• ·         Heritage site Restoration under HRIDAY scheme.
• ·         Service sector clocked to double digit @ 10.6%.
